I think my favorite moment of this newborn session was when Grandma took little Ruby into her arms and Ruby held onto her hand with the most tender display of instant trust and love. Being up here in Alaska, the out-of-town grandparents aren’t always able to visit during the birth of their grandchild, which made it all the more special when Grandma was able join us for her granddaughter’s first pictures. If you do have your parents or in-laws visiting, I wholeheartedly encourage you to have them join you for at least a shot or two. I promise you will never regret it. One day Ruby will look back on these photos and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she was loved in abundance.
