2018 Year in Review | Anchorage Newborn, Family, and Maternity Photographer

2018.

It was a year filled with big changes.
We moved locations, from West Anchorage to a bigger, better, brighter studio in East Anchorage.
Events were held including a Motherhood & Breastfeeding Event and an exclusive Christmas PJ Event.
New products were introduced, including our line of gorgeous heirloom albums.
I got to try out new locations like a Hatcher Pass hilltop, Jim Creek in the spring, and my favorite of all, Beluga Point at sunset.

But most of all it was a year filled with dozens upon dozens of the most wonderful expecting mamas, sweetest newborns, adorable kiddos, and most awesome families I could ever hope to meet.

Thank you for entrusting me with these memories and I can’t wait to continue to watch your children grow in 2019 and meet a year’s worth of new families and littles ones.

So without further ado, here are some favorites from this past year of sessions:

Thank you for an amazing year.

Megan Marlene Photography is a natural light studio located in Anchorage, Alaska and serving the communities of Anchorage, Eagle River, Chugiak, Birchwood, Palmer, Sutton, Wasilla, Big Lake, and throughout the state of Alaska, including Nome, Barrow, Valdez, Homer, and Juneau.

My style is light and airy, with a focus on gentle moments and authentic emotion. Clothing and/or styling seen above has been provided by the Studio and I love neutral tones and textures and the way they lend to the softness of the moment.

As one of the leading newborn photographers in the state, my heart is completely wrapped up in babies and motherhood and those wonderful first years of childhood. This time passes by all too quickly and I want to help each family remember what it feels like long after the moment has passed.

If you are looking for a photographer for your family, whether to celebrate a milestone or new addition or just to capture your family as you are now, I invite you to look around and then send me a message to see if we’d be a good fit. And wherever life’s adventures takes you, I wish everyone all the best in 2019.

Megan
